This novel item is a mug AND a conversation starter! It looks just like an actual paper cup, but definitely doesn't sound like one when you set it down. It's an excellent conversation piece or ice breaker when you visit your teacher during office hours. The mug is about the same size as the "Grande" paper cup at Starbucks (or "Medium" everywhere else), but holds a little bit less due to the large amount of insulation in the mug.
